US Navy Submarine Warfare Insignia Belt Buckle USN Military Vtg 70s Adezy ...a super cool and unique old "U.S. Navy Submarine Warfare Insignia" belt buckle. The final design for this insignia was approved for wear on the 24th of March, 1924. It displays a bow view of a surfaced O-class submarine with two dolphins resting their heads on the submarine's bow planes. The dolphins depicted on the insignia are actually dolphinfish, aka mahi-mahi. This is a heavy, gold/bronze tone metal buckle with darkened accents, made by Adezy Enterprises, of Denver, Colorado, in 1976. It is in pretty decent used condition, as shown in the photos it does have a dark patina, and wear and tear from age and use. It measures approximately 3-7/8" x 1-7/8", fits a 1-3/4" wide belt and weighs about 7.1 oz. Please ask any questions before you buy, and look at all the photos for additional details about the condition, description and size of this buckle. What you see is what you are buying. Thank you.
