Felt-it feels like beaver to me, but not 100% positive. Super soft, holds shape well.

Brim = 2  3/4 inch brim with bound edge

Crown = 4 3/4 inches at the pinch

Postage $12 if you don’t want the hat box, original hat box inside an outer box makes for extra dimensions, so postage increases significantly based on location.

No flaws found, No odors, no smoke smell, no stains, no bites,  hat box has wear a little loose area around rim, excellent vintage condition.

A piece of history, looks like kept in hat box since the 40s never used. 

Please know your exact head size, no returns please unless hat is not as described. Some blokes like to order and then want to try on and later return if it doesn't fit perfectly. Buying hats online is always a gamble and learning experience.
