Toby Bluth was without question one of the finest contemporary animation art, artists. He had a deep fascination for vintage Disney films from the Golden Age of Disney. Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs was his passion as was the great Disney animator Gustaf Tenggren whose style Bluth studied and immolated. His other great passion was vintage Fleischer, Betty Boop and Popeye and cartoons.
A artistic genius of sorts Toby had a long career writing and illustrating children’s books, as well as preforming and directing, nearly one hundred musicals on and off broadway. He will be remembered most however for his exquisite artwork and book illustrations.
