On the reverse the pair are signed and marked for sterling silver.

The colored gems are as follows: natural amethyst, haematite, onyx, carnelian, chrysoprase and the pale blue gems at the bottom of the earrings are glass.  

The center of the earrings has a lovely warm vermeil finish which is a fine gold plated finish made popular in the 1940s and still in use today.
