Used item.  Picture of bottom has speck of material which was wiped off so ignore it.  Empire Sterling on the bottom is somewhat worn or probably more likely not imprinted strongly.  E and S at front of empire and sterling are not too visible and last letters in words are not that visible either.  Item has lots of patina.  Could not find any dings in container.  Lids screws on good.  Plastic container inside.  See pictures.
