This Chronograph watch by TC-9 with telemeter bezel looks exquisite & very vintage especially with the case developing the highly desirable patina of bronze (which can be cleaned to bare metal very easily). A little history of the movement. The ST19 started life as a Swiss Venus 175 movement from around the 1940's. In the late 1950's Venus needed money to develop other movements & the Chinese military were looking for a reliable movement for their pilot watches to reduce dependency on Swiss movements so bought the rights, blueprints & tooling for the the Venus 175. Over the next few years they tested, tweaked & perfected the movements then introduced them into military watches in around 1963.
