Up for sale is a CGC GRADED 5.0 copy of GIBI MENSAL #86, from 1948, RARE ORIGINAL BRAZIL CAPTAIN MARVEL, CAPTAIN MARVEL JR., HUMAN TORCH, TORO, TIMELY/FAWCETT CHARACTERS CROSSOVER VARIANT COVER ART done by an artist from Brazil, that was never published in U.S.A! How cool is that?! CONTAINS a Sub-Mariner story from MARVEL MYSTERY COMICS #84 (1947), as well as another Timely story from HUMAN TORCH #24 (1947) and a Fawcett Captain Marvel story from WHIZ COMICS #85 (1947), as well as JESTER (O CORRINGA), LADY LUCK (DORA) MANOLITA, and AGENTE X stories from SMASH COMICS #74 (1947) art by JACK COLE. A true ghost of a book, this is the only CGC graded copy and for Brazil comics, Universal Blue Labels are and will continue to be rare, as many times, staples were removed from comics in Brazil due to staple rust from the climate or they are incomplete. And most golden age comics from Brazil are in very low grade. A nice presenting 5.0 mid-grade is considered "high grade" for golden age comics from Brazil. It is unknown how many copies of this issue have survived, as golden age comics from Brazil are much rarer than their USA counterparts, but you might not see another one for quite some time!
