It is used and dirty but quite a scarce little piece, deserving of restoration and/or display.

It is dusty and "dry".  
Scratched and worn
Not abused
Some light atmospheric rust here and there.
One hinge needs to be reattached.
Inside lid had two holders of some sort, one is missing.  please see photo
The handles are good.
Both hangers are good.
The latches are good.
