These pants are in very good condition: gently broken in with one small scuffed area on the inside of the left knee (see photos). Great for all of your riding needs! Note that this may run slightly smaller than 40 but I am not certain of that. Definitely not larger!
MORE ON SIZING! -- These tuck into your boots, they aren't worn over the boots. They measure about 30" from the center of the crotch to the hem BUT that is NOT a person's inseam from crotch to FLOOR. Looking at Alpinestars' current leather pants size guide, Euro 56/US 40: 37-3/4 - 39-3/8" waist, 34-1/4 - 34-5/8" inner leg (which I ASSUME means crotch-to-floor).
