Film Cleaning Fluids Available Separately 

For simply cleaning film where no lubrication is desired,

we recommend HEXANE.

Hexane is a low-cost industrial solvent that is used in manufacturing

and food processing because of its ability to quickly clean 

and evaporate, leaving no residue behind.

The fumes are relatively safe and are considered non-carcinogenic.

Like most film cleaners, it is flammable under certain extreme

conditions, so we recommend you use it in a well ventilated area.

It has been sold for many years as “Film Cleaner” 

by Hollywood editorial supply companies.

But you can buy it for much less as Hexane.

We have used Hexane for many years with great success.

Hexane is available from many sources, including eBay and Amazon.

we recommend VITAFILM.
