This United Scale Models D&RGW Rio Grande K-28 2-8-2 HOn3 scale steam locomotive is a great addition to any model railroad enthusiast's collection. The locomotive is made of brass and has a wheel configuration of 2-8-2.

The vintage locomotive has not been painted and comes in its original box. It is a replica of the Denver & Rio Grande Western and it has a gauge of HOn3. This unit was manufactured in Japan.

From family collector estate - in storage for perhaps 25 years. Needs a going thru. I took it to a good local model train hobby shop to test, was not working when put on their track so priced accordingly. They didn’t do a diagnosis. Please ask any questions I’ll try my best to answer. This was part of my father’s collection and I’m not an expert. I’d like to get this into the hands of an enthusiast who can enjoy it on their layout like he did.
