DESCRIPTION & CONDITION

This auction is for a small, unsigned, African folk art ebony wood carving sculpture. This detailed art sculpture of a boy or young man holding what appears to be a ball or perhaps making an offering, is in excellent condition. I'm not entirely sure of what part of Africa it was created in or when, but because of its pristine condition, I believe it to be from the Congo circa 2000 to 2010 but may be older and as far back as the 1980s.  This unsigned piece is just wonderfully well carved with a smooth finish with great detail on the face, head, shorts and base. It will look great in any type of setting or collection. Look over photos carefully as they are part of description and ask questions before bidding.
