This is a very rare antique Faust Cafe Restaurant German bisque porcelain, souvenir advertising figurine depicting a child dressed as a devil that is sitting in a basket reading a book. The basket measures 3-1/8" long X 2-7/16" wide. Faust Restaurant was located on Columbus Circle in New York City, and had closed its doors back in 1916. This figurine is in excellent condition with only very little wear for a piece that's more than 100 years old. The one wing tip on the devil costume is not as pointed as the other one, but appears to be just the way it was made. Circa 1910-1913.
