Up for sale is a Nice Vintage 1960s
ELGIN Stainless Steel 17 Jewels Automatic Lady’s Watch with Date.
This ELGIN watch is in very good vintage condition. It is a rare find in such great and clean condition. It is an automatic model with quick set date. It works well and keeps good time. It comes silver color dial which is in very good condition. The crystal is free of scratch. It is in overall very good cosmetic condition. The 12mm stainless steel bracelet is in very good condition. I believe it is the original bracelet for this watch even though it is not marked Elgin. The watch can fit for about 6 & ½ inches or smaller wrists. It is ready for use.
Working
condition:
It works well and keeps good time.
Function: Regular time + Date. (The date is quick set by pulling the stem
halfway out to set).
Crystal: the crystal is in very good condition,
free of scratch.
Dial: the dial is in very good condition.
Case: The case is in very good condition.
The case back is screw in style.
Movement:
Original Swiss made signed ELGIN
17 jewels automatic movement. The
movement is ticking strong but don’t its service history.
Crown: The signed crown is in very
good condition.
Size:
Width: 23mm without the buttons.
Length: 28mm from lug tip to lug tip.
Lug size: 12mm.
