Head only, Reproduction of the French Baby "BRU 7"

The only doll head presented on this sheet is a reproduction of BRU 7 Size 4 for a body of approximately 25/30 CM and therefore for a doll of approximately 40 cm or more. You have in the 5th photo the explanation of these measurements: A = 22 cm, B = 6.5 cm, C = 9.7 cm, D = 8.3 cm, E = 2 cm.

For this size 4 head, the eyes are 14 mm and a No. 4 cork cap. You can choose from my Ebay store the eyes available in size: 14 mm (possibly free installation). If you order the head, eyes, cap, wait to pay by Paypal until I combine orders by reducing shipping costs to one time!

I can offer you Size “4” wigs in natural hair or Mohair. In this case, please contact me so that I have your Email address and I will send you photo plates and prices for choosing a wig.

I make the most faithful reproduction possible of the old model in white porcelain biscuit fired at 800 then 1300 degrees (Biscuit) then do the coloring with pigments cooked in each color at 800 degrees. I leave the original marks on this model: "BRU Jne 7" but engrave my signature on the back of the neck: "ÂO" for: The soul of objects

Produced by a French craftsman using 19th century techniques.  The white porcelain doll's make up is done with the original antique one as a model or with a lot of documentation. I engrave my signature “ÂO” on the doll's nape, in addition to the original marks.

All the wigs are made of natural human hair or mohair. The eyes are made of crystal, often with sulfur in it (“Paper weight”). The doll's bodies (made of wood and papier-mâché) are assembled as in former times: cotton elastic bands of very high quality tied together with iron ligatures, hands on wire hooks, assembly with an iron “V” inside the body.

Each doll is available unclothed, or with another wig or another doll's clothes. For example, you can purchase doll “X” with doll Y's wig and doll Z's clothes.   I will e-mail you a picture of the doll you want with its price on Ebay and Paypal (or by credit card)

Please look at my E-Bay store with more than 300 antique doll reproductions.
