Purchased after the war by a family member and brought to San Diego.

Both panels measure approximately 14 inches high by 9 1/2 inches across.

These are original early run 19th century Ukiyo-e period woodblock prints by Utagawa Kunisada, also known as Utagawa Toyokuni III from Edo, Japan.  They depict scenes from a famous Kabuki play.

There is no backing on the paper (see photos).

Both prints are taped at top to matting which can be removed by a professional. I would rather not try and will ship as is, as displayed in the photos, flat inside a reinforced box.

Alternatively, you can pick them up in the Torrey Hills area of San Diego with no shipping cost or you can arrange packing and shipping at the UPS office at the Torrey Hills Corner and I can drop it off there for no added charge, or I can drive them to a dop off location of your choice for a charge of $4 per mile from Torrey Hills.
