The SPIDER RT1 features two different intercom modes: Group Mesh Intercom and Multi-Channel Open Mesh Intercom. When using Group Mesh, users create a private group that supports up to 24 riders over a range of up to 5 miles / 8 km (min 6 riders @ 1 mi / 1.6 km intervals). Users are invited into Group Mesh, giving added control and privacy.

Multi-Channel Open Mesh lets you communicate with virtually any number of participants in the Mesh network within a range of up to 5 miles / 8 km. Open Mesh also features multi-channel options, with nine channels available! You can switch between the nine frequencies for conversations with different riding groups within the larger Open Mesh group.

The SPIDER RT1 features an impressive 11.5 hour talk time, plus fast charging in just 1.5 hours. The SPIDER RT1 is also conveniently compatible with all Sena Mesh-equipped devices, including the SPIDER ST1, 50S, 50R, 30K, Momentum EVO, and any Sena Bluetooth device that is connected to the +Mesh Adapter.

Good Quality

I have and ST1 and bought this for my Pillion to use as I thought the button option would be easier for them. Sound quality is good and has a decent volume and its all pretty straightforward to setup, good to have a PC handy though to do the firmware update. It has a good selection of options for fitting and I prefer the clip on which seems very secure. The batteries have impressed be most as even when off for longer periods it really holds it charge and even is use it does not drain much.

Having bought the same unit last year BMW badged with a new bike, decided to get the wife one to allow communication whilst on longer runs. Very easy to set up and sounds great when out on a run. Bought on special deal, well worth the money.

My mate and I bought one each. Tested it out on the weekend and found it really good. Reception is excellent. tested out the distance to see how far before we lost communication and it was at least 1/2 mile , dropped out in built up areas but the good thing is that as soon as it picks up the other rider it re-connects again. our old bluetooth communicators were a pain once you lost the other rider, you would have to stop and re-connect. The RT1 fits nice on the helmet and I prefer the buttons rather than the tog wheel, less chance of any water ingress. The HD Speakers sound quality is pretty good also the ability to use hands free phone calling is a positive. Overall I am pleased with the set up. I didn't give 5 stars because the first RT1 I received had a faulty speaker so always check them out on the bench before you fit. As usual the Sportsbikeshop returns policy was faultless

My son connected this to my helmet. It works really well, great to be able to talk, listen to music and answer phone calls, I am a pillion passenger. This is good quality, fits in the helmet with no trouble.
