I was told growing up that this was an ice cream set.  My grandmother would put homemade ice cream in the platter, which has a 2" lip, and would serve it at the table.  The two single plates shown in pics 2 and 3 are the best and the worst.  The 3rd one is the worst by far, and the only one that bad.  A few others are very good, most have some gold worn off, but not noticable from the top.

This is a set of 11 T and V Daisy Chain dessert plates and a platter that is 16" x 9".x 2". Crafted in France from fine bone china, these dessert plates and platter features a beautiful daisy chain pattern. The plates and platter are made by T and V, a renowned brand in the world of fine china. These plates are perfect for serving desserts or light snacks. The Limoges origin of these plates ensures that they are of the highest quality and will last for years to come.

These elegant gold rimmed Daisy Chain Plates and platter was hand painted in Limoges France. The plates are in good condition, no chips or cracks or crazing. The plates are 7 1/8 inches..  The platter is 16" x 9" x 2" deep.

These are double-marked on the back, indicating decoration at the factory, not by outside contract. The green underglaze T and V marks the plate as factory manufactured whiteware, and the red overglaze was added for location of the decorating, also factory.  I have read that the bell mark was used until 1907, but I think between 1907 and 1919 (when the company sold out to Raynaud) they continued to use it. I believe that Vogt died in 1907, so I'm sure a certain amount of confusion reigned, and they changed their name, etc.

In any case, these are definitely antique and have been VERY well maintained, but they are not new. At 100+ years old, they carry a minimal amount of the effects of early 20th century manufacturing; and some of the gold has chipped off through the years. You will receive the very ones in the pictures, and if you would like, I can send individual pictures since some of them have more gold chipped off, and some hardly any.
