Based on theFrame No. 12025, the vintage frame is believed to have been constructed in thelate 1990s during the Tom Kellogg days. (This is the base model, not the “superlite.”)Current owner bought this frame in 2009 from the second owner. The frame finishwas completely reworked to remove minor scuffs and uneven oxidation to make theTi surface look consistent throughout.  Anew Ouzo Pro carbon fork was set with a Chris King no-tread headset. The BB wasfitted with a Campagnolo Chorus cup/bearing/axle. The frameset was built withthe current wheels and components in 2023. The headset and BB axle bearings arebutter-smooth. The TI frame has some cable wear marks on the headtube, and afew other minor scratches.  The welds onthis MERLIN are fantastic. Frameset alignment is excellent.
