Up for sale is an extremely rare, 70mm collector film cell from The Empire Strikes Back JEDI TRAINING edition.

As a collector, I have purchased and sold hundreds of these and, like other collectibles, some are more rare and more valuable than others.

For these 70mm film cell collectibles, the actual film cell is what most determines it's appreciated value. The film cells are taken from various parts of the movie depending on the edition - in this case, scenes involving Luke Skywalker and Yoda training on Dagobah.

This particular one that I am selling is from when Luke Skywalker battles 'himself' as Darth Vader in the tree. This scene was important because it showed what Luke was to become if he traveled down the dark path in his force training. Luke doesn't know it's 'him' until he slices off Vader's head and the face under the helmet is revealed.

This film cell is a great shot of Luke's light saber detaching the head complete with smoke and sparks! The picture is centered and is very well in focus and clear.

NOTE: Film cell cards without a sequence number may have been extras or simply didn't get assigned a number. We are not sure if this makes the film cell card more valuable or not. Please know that regardless of whether the cel card contains a sequence number or not, they do all contain the certified hologram sticker of authenticity on every card.

Limited Edition - estimated 9999 of each produced (some may have 10xxx #s)

Each original 70mm film cell has been carefully selected and hand-cut from a masterprint taken from the original internegative. This film cell is an original, one-of-a-kind, and will never be sold to the public again.

Each 70mm film cell has been sealed with Scotchgard film protector. This protection gives a scratch resistant, static resistant, optically clear coating that actually improves the quality while extending the life of the film.

Each film cell card has a sequence number as well as an Edition designator. There were 11 "A" Editions, 9 "B" Editions and 4 Special (S1-S4) Editions. "B" Editions have the same card front as the "A" Editions, but different card backs.

No two film cells are the same!

Please review the pictures closely as you will be receiving this very one.
