This is a nice vintage men’s automatic watch from Baylor that was probably made around 1950. My research shows the Bidynator movement was created in 1947.. so all the Ebay folks calling Bidynators “WW2 watches” are lying. The movement says Louvic. The 17 jewels, Felsa 690 movement runs strong and keeps time when you give it a good wind, but will need service to run better with the rotor. Rotating the rotor back and forth makes the click wind the watch, but the mainspring might need to be cleaned to run better. Basically, it keeps great time if you wind it, and starts to lose time after a day of not winding it.

The dial has a wear spot, but not too bad. The bezel has some wear, but again, not too bad. The watch also has a new 16mm band.

NOT WATERPROOF! I know the back of the watch say it is water resistant, but I cannot guarantee any water resistance on a vintage watch this old. Please do not buy it, ruin it by wearing it swimming or in the shower, then ask for your money back (if it didn’t happen so often by newbies, I wouldn’t have to keep mentioning it).

The case is 31mm wide not counting the crown, and 38mm long including the lugs. See photos for more details.

I sell many types of watches, so please check out my other auctions as I will combine shipping if items are shipped in a Small Flat Rate Box.
