Our meticulous linen-backing process adheres strictly to traditional archival standards, ensuring every restoration is reversible and aimed at preserving the poster's life and durability without causing any damage.

We begin by inspecting each poster for authenticity before any restoration work. A preemptive prep stage follows, where minimal tape or residue is delicately removed to prepare the poster for wet work.

Next, the poster undergo a thorough cleaning process using an alkaline solution to eliminate dirt and acidity from the paper. For posters needing additional care, a gentle bleaching process is applied to brighten the paper, eradicate mold and stains, and restore the original colors.

Once cleaned, the posters are carefully mounted onto canvas lined with acid-free archival paper, using pH-balanced wheat paste glue. After drying, basic color restoration is meticulously applied using water-soluble watercolor pencils as needed, ensuring a vibrant and rejuvenated appearance.
