This stunning natural tourmaline is parti colored, with one end being a very lovely bright blue the other very deep and dark appearing almost black. The shades of blue present are lovely with an almost steely shade present throughout the stone - a beautiful complex and mysterious coloration that indicolite tourmaline is renown for.

Like all natural tourmalines there is a color difference that occurs in different lighting conditions.

This exceptional natural untreated tourmaline is transparent. It is slightly included with delicate natural inclusions present that can be seen with an unaided eye.

The stone comes from retired jewelers stock and has never been set.
