2 units of radio receiver equipment used by the USAAF in aircraft from 1944 that has been in the care of a dedicated radio collector from Norfolk for decades. I have been fortunate enough to acquire many fascinating radios from his estate in order to find them new homes - he once worked on UK RAF and Army air bases as a civilian engineer and acquired many ex-service radio-related items during the 1960’s and 70’s.  

I can’t offer much technical information about this unit - I hope an expert will have a better understanding of specific fitment and application. I am told that it was fitted to the late-war F1F Bearcat but I can find no pictures. 

The condition is extremely good with a minimum of wear, no soiling and undamaged throughout. I can’t see any damaged wiring or components on the chassis, though I believe these units has been untouched since being removed from service and will no doubt require mechanical attention. 

I have another part of this set-up listed - the control unit C-2 - please see the diagram in the photos for reference. Happy to offer a deal to combine the lots. Unfortunately no other components are present.
