This beautiful piece is ready to grace your vintage bar cart! An original Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik piece, the rim made likely of aluminum as I do not see any silver markings. The rim is labeled with the stamp of the WMF with the running ostrich, the same that they typically used in the 1910s. The ceramic base has very few markings; a few tiny spots of very light scratching or scuffing but no cracks and only one very shallow chip to the finish which does not impact use (and is virtually invisible). The rim has only minor spots of tarnishing. A gorgeous soft powder blue floral pattern. The base reads 'decor 2218'. This piece was sourced from a New England barn sale in the late 1980s/early 90s by my great-grandmother, who had an incredible eye for true antiques - this piece is rare in such fine condition!

With gratitude to Dr. David N. Nikogosyan of the Association of Small Collectors of Antique Silver for the educational site describing WMF markings and eras (http://www.ascasonline.org/windowFEBBRA105.html)

Weighs ~3lbs , measures 12" across the tray plus each handle.
