new Furuno GT-8037C GPS for Microsemi / Symmetricom XLi 87-8028, resolve the unlocked status, their is NO 1024 weeks rollover problem, so the year/month/date is correct;
the unit is made in year 2013, so has the good receiving sensitivity, fast seeking capability, please make sure your antenna is OK, can decode 6 or more satellites ;
the unit's interface same as has the Motorola M12m module;
the unit just for Symmetricom XLi (with 87-8028 card) only, just replace the old Motorola M12 or PENTAR SA-101 directly, no any other setting needed, if you plug out the 87-8028-2 card to install it, please remember its previous slot position; if your Symmetricom XLi GPS module is 86-8013, CAN NOT use it.
the unit can NOT used in Symmetricom Syncserver 2xx, 3xx, and can not try in such machine, if you plug the card into Syncserver, the data will be destroyed by Syncserver, then can NOT used it in Symmetricom XLi;
there is a Lithium Battery Rechargeable in the board, when the system power on, will charge the battery, about 2 days will be full charged (then stop charging), if the system power off, the battery can keep the data about one year, if the GPS board is in working status, the battery life more than 10 years.
