DESCRIPTION A rare antique coffee can and saucer, 591, from Royal Copenhagen in the Blue Fluted Half Lace pattern, no. 1.
Blue
Fluted Half Lace is framed by its delicate lace trim which acts as a
foil for the hand-painted motif. It takes 1,197 brush stroked to paint a
Blue Fluted Half Lace dinner plate.
CONDITION In near mint condition showing virtually no sign of use or wear. 1st quality.
SIZE Cup approx. 6.5cm/2½" in diameter and 6cm/2⅜" high. Saucer approx. 13.75cm/5⅜" in diameter.
MAKERS MARKS Appropriately marked with the Royal Copenhagen backstamp dating the set to c.1889-1922.
