Ii am unsure what this item is or what its used for.any info would be welcome.

its solid brass and one part slides onto the other part.it screws onto the wooden cabinet.dont know if its complete or any part missing.the wooden cabinet is in good condition with some light wear in places.

measures approx 21cm high not including the wooden cabinet
