I’ll include a couple of boxes of cartridges, too.

A wonderful opportunity to become the owner of a beautiful and dependable fountain pen. This is a nice Stypen fountain pen. It has a gold-coloured nib and writes extremely nicely (dip-tested only). Good to hold, feel and use and close inspection reveals very few of the usual microscratches that come from being well loved.

Introduced in the twentieth century, I do not know a name for this model, an interesting design, with a really well-proportioned slim shape, a strong oblong clip, a generously sized nib and nice writing performance. Cap is a pull fit.

It is approximately 137mm long capped, 164mm posted and has a barrel diameter of approximately 10mm. It has a pull-off cap and a gold-coloured clip. There are no traces of rust showing through on the clip.

I believe the cap and barrel material is plastic. Inside the barrel it will obviously take a cartridge or you may use the convertor for bottled ink. I have not used this pen regularly, just a dip test and it writes very nicely.

I don’t know much about Stypen – they were French and were absorbed into the BIC company in 2004.

I’m having to sell off my stuff as we recently down-sized and there is no pleasure in having beautiful possessions kept in removals boxes in the garage.

Please see all pictures as they form a part of the description, if any further info is required please message me.

The starting price is low to encourage bidding and/or offers and because I’m competing with sellers whose government pay shipping charges for exports. The converter inside the pen would cost £2.50 or more elsewhere.

All my items will be carefully and securely packed for postage. Sadly, I have found it better to use tracked postage to protect against items being reported as 'not received', therefore postage is £3.50 to a mainland UK address, otherwise please use the Global Shipping Programme.

If you buy and win more than one item, I can combine to save postage as long as you let me know when you've bought the first.

Enjoy the auction, bid up and win!

Thanks.
