The 49ers wore Bike Brand (a division of Russell Athletics) helmets from 1982-1984. Nardi Enterprises would take real NFL helmets and modify them by adding a phone on top of them and called them “Draft Day Phones”. This phone was made in 1985 making it a “1985 Draft Day Phone” and later the #80 helmet stickers were added to the back as the Niners drafted Jerry Rice out of Mississippi Valley State in the First Round of the 1985 NFL Draft. The name plates and pin were also added on at the same time. The last picture is just a sample of the Bike helmet that the 49ers wore during that season.
