The Fastbacks, a band of reckless punks who follow in the footsteps of the Ramones and Buzzcocks, are essentially the creation of Kurt Bloch, an amazing guitarist and composer from Seattle. Answer The Phone Dummy lives up to their underground fame - harmony with a punk philosophy (brevity, conciseness, frenzy). A whirlwind playback of ye-ye girls and teen idols, of girl-groups and Spector sound, in a frenetic documentary of the early '60s.
