GERRY ANDERSON CANDY COMIC Issue 19 1967 Thunderbirds Tingha & Tucker Disney  Vintage

I am gradually listing my 1960s and 1970s toys, books and comics - there is a whole loft to empty, so it will take me some time! - so please feel free to save me as a 'Saved Seller' on eBay (that way you will know when I have added items). The comics I have include: TV21 (Stingray), Candy, Thunderbirds, Lady Penelope, Dr Who, TV Comic, Laurel and Hardy, Popeye, Huckleberry Hound, Yogi Bear, Disney, Shoot!, Tiger, The Hornet, TV Tornado, Dandy, The Beano, The Whizz, Tarzan, Lion, TV Toyland, Yosemite Sam and Bugs Bunny comics, and more!!

A Gerry Anderson comic. Candy (it was weekly). [I have lots more Candy comics to list, including the first issue]. This is Issue 19, Wednesday May 27th, 1967. Candy, Joan Morton and the Tree House Family are on the front cover. It cost 9d! Rare. Around 56 years old! Published by Century 21 Publishing Ltd., 167Fleet Street, London. Printed in UK. The whole issue is full-colour comic strips, and black and white competition pages, etc.. As well as Candy, the other cartoon characters (with comic strips) within are: Tingha and Tucker, Winnie the Pooh, Bengo by Tim, Topo Gigio, Piggy Bank and Kellogg's Snap, Crackle and Pop.
20 pages. Paper pages and cover.
There are also some competition pages and a little puzzles and the like (all untouched/not written on). This has been stored in our loft for many years, out of daylight and dust, so the colours are very good and the comic is very neat. There is a tiny piece of the top right corner of front cover missing, and bottom right corner a little dog-eared. Measures approx. 23.1 cm high x 28.4 cm wide. Posted by Royal Mail, second class Signed-For service, using reinforced envelope. There are lots more Candy comics to come - I have lots of boxes of comics to work through - this is the first one! I can usually combine postage.

Please see my pictures above, in which I have done my best to show this item as honestly as I can, and which forms part of my description.
