Welcome. This auction is for 2-5x7 Rochester Optical Wood Cut Film Holders. These are in very good condition and are O.D. 6-1/8 x 8-1/8 with an I.D. of 5-1/8 x 7-1/4.
The Cut Film
Holders shown are showing dimensions labeled O.D. (outer dimensions) and I.D.
(inner dimensions). To clarify this, The
O.D. measurement means the CFH’s were measured from the light dam at the top of
the CFH (The protrusion that seals the slot) and the bottom of the CFH. I did not measure the top of the darkslide
that does not go into the camera back itself.
The I.D. measurement is the film opening that gets exposed. I hope this is an adequate explanation. These items are
from the estate sale of a former photographic studio that was in business from
the 1920’s or 1930’s. They apparently
used a variety of camera formats based upon the various cut film holders
available. I will be offering several
lots of 5x7 cut film holders in the coming weeks. They had a very active darkroom setup so I have
a variety of darkroom equipment to offer as well. Please stay tuned.

Packaging fees are common sense based. I'm just interested in covering the time & materials used (Usually $2.00-15.00). 99% of my auctions got out at the lower end of that list. The more time & materials used, the higher the fee. You won't find an $8.00 "handling charge" masquerading behind a 99¢ auction here. And if you think about it, you'd really rather spend the money on careful packaging than to have your fragile purchase just shoved into some old box and sent to you unprotected. I've had that happen and so have plenty of others, but none of them were my customers.
Shipping is done via USPS Priority Mail or FedEx Ground. Large/Heavy items (over 10#) are shipped by FedEx ground and require a street address, NOT A P.O. BOX. If you don't have an address, borrow one! Send it to your work address, or your uncle Ephram's house instead. NO UPS!
Buyer is to pay all shipping, packaging (where applicable), and insurance costs (MANDATORY for electronics, cameras, collectables, or high-ticket items.) from zip 60565.
