An inter-war German illustrated propaganda book published in Germany in 1937 called " Sieh : Das Herz Europas " ( See in the Heart of Europe ) by the American Stanley Mc.Clatchie . In hard covers with German text and numerous B&W photographs and deals with the military , political and social changes in Germany from the First World War to the mid 1930's including the success of the 1936 Berlin Olympics and more .

The book was acquired by an Australian soldier who has written his military details on the inside of the front cover : " VX 16083  J.K. Robertson  2/6th. Battalion A.I.F ( Australian Imperial Force ) 1940 . Sailed April 14th. 1940 " .

The book is in intact but well used condition with age and considerable use . Several pages have got minor tears on them .
