This is a high quality hand knotted Oriental Rug woven by expert weavers on looms.

This is a very heavy thick plush rug of excellent quality wool & weave.

The background color is a deep rich purple brown with sprays of flowers in sage green and beige.

The design is a sophisticated all-over grid pattern with modern floral sprays in the center and four corners.

The rug has a velvet like pile that shades as you run your hand across it.  Like velvet the color will change from lighter to darker depending on which side you stand.

The pile is also hand sculpted to give the rug a very rich dimensional texture as seen in the close-up photos.
