Beautiful hand knitted handmade large blanket. This is such a heavy blanket! I knitted this using 10mm needles and three strands of yarn held together:

- James C Brett Rustic With Wool Aran - DAT24 - 400g

- James C Brett Rustic With Wool Aran - DAT31 - 400g

- Dermores Studio DK Anti Pilling Acrylic Yarn - 100g

This mix of three yarns gives it a beautiful speckled design. It's a very unique blanket!

The yarn alone cost more than £80, so this is a bargain price!

I believe I used six balls of the James C Brett, which is 2.4kg of yarn, plus around eight balls of Deramores DK. In total, this blanket weighs over 3kg!

It's knitted in a simple stockinette, so it has a slight curl on the edges. It took me more than 20 hours to knit and it fills an entire large shopper bag.

It's the size of a double bed but also ideal for use on the sofa or in a child's bedroom. Measures approx 260 x 190cm.
