This was from my mom’s collection. She loved this potter and these pieces were just used for display, so in mint handmade condition.

I note fading marks inside on four spots each on the lid and the platter. There are also three faded spots on the bottom. I imagine those were there when she purchased the set. The set is handmade, so there are expected to be unique markings on each piece.

Platter base is stamped from the maker.

Platter base has a 6.25” diameter. Its interior diameter is 4.25”. The lid is about 4.75” tall with a 5.75” diameter. Dish measures about 6” high with lid in place.

Such a lovely, unusual piece! It could be used as a butter dish. You could put the butter on the base or put the butter in the lid with a little water in the base. It could be used as a jewelry bowl near your bed or at a point of entry so you can add jewelry as you depart for the day. It would also make a nice bowl for serving nuts or smaller nibbles. So many options!

This is perfect for the horse enthusiast!!
