Hello and welcome to the listing of my Austin Sprite.

For those of you who are not quite sure why I've not mentioned the name 'Healey' in the name of the car, thats because in January 1971 until July 1971, the name was dropped as they didn't want to pay Healey the Royalties for their name. So there was just 1022 produced and I believe there's only about 400 left, which obviously makes this little car quite rare and sort after.

I purchased it last year with all the intention of restoring her, but sadly other projects have jumped the queue and I know that I won't get round to completing the work required, so she's here to sell to someone with a little time on their hands, together with some basic mechanical know how.

The shell is quite study and as far as I know it needs work on the A post panels, both sides, the boot lid is quite rusty and the drivers side sill needs work too. Both front wings and the bonnet are fibreglass, so no rust there! There's no interior trim, seats, steering wheel or soft top, but it does have to hood frame. As you can it also requires an engine and gearbox, plus the propshaft too. I've noticed that it does have braided brake hoses.

So there you have it, it's a project for someone and it's quite rare too.

I have the V5C in my name.

You're very welcome to pop along and view the car.

Thank you.
