WW1 American USA Perkins Marine Dark Lantern Lamp Dietz

For sale a rare and unusual American Navy Dark Lantern from Perkins USA.

Pretty unique design in that it has a shield that could be raised to conceal the lanterns light without having to spend the time to remove the fount and extinguish the flame. 

It's in good vintage condition for its age, glass shade does have some damage, please see photos before bidding, thanks
