I am revising this listing as I have recently found the original box and Certificate of Guarantee that goes with this set. I have included all the extra information in pictures and in the listing.
This set belonged to my mother. It consists of a pearl necklace with 18ct gold and diamond highlights and a pair of matching earrings. There is also a pearl , gold and ruby brooch. The pearls are Oval, Cream/Pink, Grade A size 5.5 - 5.0MM (see pictures). They are cultured Fresh Water. The gold is hallmarked as 18k and there are 9 small diamonds set in the pendant. The Necklace is 42cm in length. There are matching earrings with a hanging pearl and 2 diamonds each, also 18k. The hallmarks are far to small for me to photograph, but on the necklace it says 18k and 750. The earrings are stamped 750 which I understand is 18ct. Each earring also has its own guarantee (see pictures) The brooch is I believe older than the set, but my mum always wore them together and I want it to go as a set. It has numerous stamps on the pin one of which I believe is a makers mark (SPD or O?) it is 9ct gold (stamped 375). There are 2 small rubys set into the brooch and a pearl in the center.
The brooch is 2 inches long and the necklace about 13 inches without the gold pendant part. 6.5 inches each side.
I have nobody to pass these onto and I didn`t like the idea of weighing them in for the gold content. It is a lovely set and I think somebody could still cherish and value it.
The starting price is a fair one based on my research. I have the original bill of sale and my mother paid twice the price I have set as the starting price. There are similar Mikura products listed currently at twice the price and they don`t include the extra brooch. I am open to offers and I may be open to a buy it now price.
