1979 Black Paramount, 21” frame. I bought this bike off eBay in 2014. Supposedly, it was ordered by a lady and then not ridden very much. It had hung upside down in a garage near the coast of California for over 30 years. The pictures and description of it did not show that the chrome wasn’t perfect and there was some rust on some of the parts like the brake calipers, bottom of the seat and spokes. I disassembled the bike to clean everything and I replaced the caliper assemblies, spokes and managed to remove the rust under the seat. All the other pieces cleaned up well and the only poor chrome is on the rear stays. It was reassembled at the Schwinn dealer in Sioux City (they had fun!). I rode it once just to check it out and it did. It’s hung in the garage since and went with us to AZ when I retired. All the decals on the bike frame are ORIGINAL except on the rear stays. Other than the striped ones on the seat tube the others are excellent. The dropout adjuster on one side is stuck and the head is missing. There are eyelets for fenders on the rear dropouts only; there are no eyelets on the fork. I’m not sure what rims are on this because I can’t find any markings; I’m not experienced enough to determine what they truly are. I applied those SUPER CHAMPION decals. The rims are aluminum with 700c tires. The outer chain ring has custom painted indentations, not by me. The freewheel was replaced upon assembly to provide a lower gear. The chain was replaced too. The bike comes with the original freewheel, chain, brakes, rear derailleur spring cover, the Cristophe Special toe clips and screws, black Alfredo Binda straps (and spokes, IF I can find them). The Campy hoods for the brake levers are shot and deteriorated over the last 10 years. The wrap on the handlebars has some wear from moving it around. Finally, the Provenance Report from Richard Schwinn and the empty tool bag will be included. Please ask me any questions you might have. Shipping will be a flat $125.00. I’ll pick up any extra. I’ll use a service like ShipBikes if I can. The bike will arrive partially disassembled of course. Lower 48 only please. It may take me a few more than 3 days to get it packed and shipped but I’ll keep in touch the whole time.

Last pic is where it was the last 10 years. My rider isn’t in the pic. The chrome one will be for sale soon.
