Rare original antique engraving print from an 1860s illustrated journal. The print depicts a visit of the Prince of Wales (Albert Edward, later King Edward VII) and Princess of Wales (Alexandra of Denmark) visiting the University of Oxford in the quadrangle of Trinity College.

Trinity College (The College of the Holy and Undivided Trinity in the University of Oxford, of the foundation of Sir Thomas Pope) is one of the constituent colleges of the University of Oxford in England. The college was founded in 1555 by Sir Thomas Pope, on land previously occupied by Durham College, home to Benedictine monks from Durham Cathedral.

The print is very large (folio size), measuring approximately 11 x 15 inches (28 x 38 cm). The picture fills about half of it, measuring about 9 x 6.5 inches, with a caption below it.

The page is in excellent condition for its age.
