We are pleased to offer at auction this ORIGINAL PRODUCTION CEL which was created to produce a Season One SpongeBob SquarePants Animated Cartoon. Please note that hand-colored acetate cels were only used for Season One. Multiple cels were placed atop one another, including the background, the characters, and the foreground objects. The combined cels were then individually filmed. This original cel, which we offer here at auction, is a unique piece of art and one-of-a-kind! Following Season One, a digital ink and paint animation process was utilized. PLEASE NOTE: Long ago, this original cel was separated from other the cels which were originally combined to create the finished scene. The separation may have caused some missing bits of paint or other minor imperfections. Please examine our scans carefully before bidding.
