This is a 1938  New International Atlas of the World  book, included with this book is a large 1927 Colliers Encyclopedia advertisement (see photos). The atlas was published by the Geographical Publishing Co. and includes 200 maps and illustrations and included "CHRONICLE OF CONQUEST" A composite resume of the rise and fall of nations.  Atlas includes such gems as "The Union of Socialist Soviet Republic, and the Japanese Empire."

This particular example would be perfect for someone looking to part out the maps for resale as the spine of the book is in rough shape.  It also would be a nice display piece.

The advertisement from the Collier Encyclopedia Company is double sided amd has a list A to Z of educational Encyclopedia topics that could be purchased.  I'm assuming considering the time period this came from a door to door salesman, and considering the great depression happened two years after this was printed, it is a rarity.
