This is a beautiful piece & could be used indoors or outdoors.  I recommend spraying it with weather resistant clear spray paint if using it outdoors.  Spray tge stand too. You could create a birdbath.  There are so many ways to use it. Indoors, it would look great next to a fireplace or if you have plant ledges built into your walls near the ceiling.
