This is an Old One!   It's Not perfect, but it's got a lot of good going for it!

A Nice example of a 100+ year old Used camera--- I think it's from about 1910 through the 1920's--- I don't know exactly when (but I expect you will).   It's the "chimney hood" Curtain Aperture type that Margaret Bourke-White used for all those great Depression era photos.    It's a Folmer & Schwing R.B. Tele Graflex - Large Format 3 1/4 X 4 1/4 inch Camera--- an SLR of sorts.  The lens is a 4 x 5 inch Tessar Ic, made by Bausch & Lomb Optical in Rochester, NY.  It also comes with an old Graflex Roll Film Holder--- and man they had some big film back then---- 1915 Model that takes #51 Eastman Film!

It's in Very Good Condition overall--- with general light wear & tear--- some scuffs, scratches, and some spots of paint wear---- normal age wear and tear--- but really very nice for the age.   But there are a couple of noteworthy things---- 1) the "leather" on the front of the flip-up hatch/door in front of the lens--- that has been replaced with something that doesn't quite match perfectly.  2) the hood material is rather dried and stiff, so it's cracking at a couple seams but it's still all there and it works.   3) The leather handle on top is degrading and has been repaired a little, but I wouldn't trust it to carry it.

Mechanically---- The Curtain Shutter cycles... somewhat---- it winds and needs a little coaxing sometimes to trip and then it travels a little sluggishly or it hangs up.  But it will wind several turns and run through different speeds, and the curtain material is fairly smooth, so I think it's fixable with some rehab/servicing, but it's really not too usable as is--- and naturally, it has Not Been Fully Tested (and I don't know all the nuances of it.)   But, everything else that should be on the camera looks to be there and in good condition!   The bellows is in Very Nice condition---  a little worn but no major damage that I can see.  The Reflex Mirror is complete and in pretty good shape, as is the ground glass inside.   The LENS glass is Very Nice!   It's very Clean & Clear all the way--- No haze or fungus or glue separation, barely any dust specs either.    The aperture works well--- a little stiff, but it goes all the way with no obstructions.

The Roll Film Magazine is in very good condition too, although no guarantees on it's operation, if you can get film for it.

So consider it a collectible, or an Excellent candidate for some rehabilitation/restoration work---- so please don't expect it to be like new---- it has some issues, both known and unknown.   What you see is what you'll get--- the actual item for sale is pictured--- please check them all out.

Continental US Shipping will be $15.50 because it's a heavy beast.  I will ship the next day after purchase.   It will be packed well and safe.   International Shipping via the ebay program.

PLEASE READ THIS---  PLEASE READ THIS--- By Buying you Agree with this:   I am not Amazon or a professional Camera Store seller--- just an old camera collector/shooter selling some Used items.  I'm not here trying to rip anybody off or sneak one past you.    But that said... I'm not into having things go back and forth based on opinion, or risk "part swapping" either.  So I'm sorry, I can't sell this item on Approval--- it's being sold As Is, No Warranty, No Buyer's Remorse, No Try-outs, No Returns... being sold for collectible purposes, very good condition but not like new.   I've been a photographer for 30+ years and I know how cameras work and what to look for and can recognize when something is broken.  But I can't "Bench Test" every thing to factory specs and unless it's Brand New... I can't guarantee that every single aspect may be Perfect.  Any significant defects that I know of are either pictured or described to the best of my knowledge and I try to be detailed and truthful, but I can't describe every every millimeter of it--- and I might have missed something.   If you have a question about something particular--- Ask Before You Buy It.  What you see is what you'll get and I package my items well, so it arrives in the same condition as shown.
