This listing is for the small collection of 10 ancient  stone crescent knives that you see in photos. Nothing else is included. Through the years, I have gained some knowledge about ancient Native American artifacts but I am far from being an expert. Among a few other things, I know enough to look at the patina. This collection was in a larger collection of various old crescent knives in a Riker mount that I purchased at an estate sale in Oregon where there were many antique and vintage items. This is the last lot that I have from that collection. I was not told the history of the collection. I believe that they are authentic old artifacts and guarantee them to be so.

A small card that was with the larger collection reads, "Crescentic flint sickle blade. Alvord Desert, Ore." I think that some of them are flint but I do not know if they all are. One looks like quartz. The card is not included with this collection.  I do not know if the location is correct for all or any of them. I leave it to the buyer to determine when and where they were made. I believe and guarantee that they are authentic old knives but I do not know their precise age. I think that some of them might be paleolithic.

From left to right of the row depicted in the photo of all 10 knives, each knife measures close to: 2, 1 3/4, 1 3/4, 1 13/16, 1 3/4, 1 5/8, 1 1/2, 1 11/16, 1 1/4, and 1 3/8 inches long.

The condition is much like you see it in the photos.  I do not see anything that looks like contemporary damage. There are irregularities and imperfections some of which might be ancient damage. Otherwise, these points are as shown.  My photos should give you a good idea of the general condition of these knives.

I guarantee these knives be as described and represented by the photos. The photos are part of the description; please look at all of them. I allow three business days for shipping, but I usually ship the same or next day if possible. Please note that the lighting in my photos is uneven, and there might be shadows or reflections. The colors on my monitor look close to but not exactly like the actual colors; different monitors may show different colors. I often say that an item measures or weighs "approximately" because no measurements are exact, and some things are difficult to measure.

I like to leave feedback after I know that the item has arrived and that the buyer is satisfied. I reserve the right to cancel any bids without explanation. I frequently purchase signature delivery for my more valuable packages because of the possibility of them being stolen off of a porch or damaged by weather. I often, but not always, ship the same or next day. Often, I have a double-walled box custom made for larger items, which might result in a short delay. When I use packing peanuts, they are usually made from biodegradable materials.

Please email me with any questions or suggestions. I do not ship on weekends, and I might not be available to answer emails on weekends.

Thanks for looking at my listing.
