Offered for sale is this vintage relief portrait tile of General Pershing. It was made by the Mosaic Tile Company of Zanesville Ohio in the 1940's as a fundraiser for the American Legion. Please excuse the reflections in the pictures.
The tile is approximately 5.25 inches long and just over 3.5 inches wide.
There is a firing flaw on the side (the tip of the pen is pointing to it) - the tile was made and sold like this. Please see the close up pictures.
