tin bank,lithographed,black tin roof can be opened by sliding to the sides
roof slightly uneven
front:slot with black lid
golden ornamental ribbon:CORREIO (POST)
coat of arms of Portugal:with armillary sphere (symbol of the
great maritime tradition of Portugal) in the background

underneath the "ribbon" with the words MEALHEIRO
(=savings bank)
backside: left,at the bottom:"Fabricado em Portugal"

condition: tin all in all good without any rust
LITTLE unevenness in the frontside,at the bottom traces of soldered edges,probably due to a restoration;the lithography of the applications (coat of arms,ribbons with
words) is at some spots slightly "disturbed" by oxydation of the "golden"
material (chemical reaction ?)
so condition about 2- (still good)?2-3 ??
