This antique book, titled "Anatomy and Physiology Rendered Attractive and the Laws of Health Made Plain” by E. Small, was published in 1864 by Degen and Estes in Boston, United States. This book is based on the conversations that the author had with his children over the years. The organization of the book is set up as questions from a child and the author providing the answers in a manner that they would understand.

The hardcover book is illustrated and is considered a first edition. This book has signs of wear and tear, most notably with the cover. The ends of the cover over the spine are missing (see photo); however, these missing sections do not affect the functioning of the cover and it remains attached to the book. The pages are primarily clean and drop of tears. The title page has a small triangular piece missing from the bottom. This book is a wonderful addition to any library of antique books especially for those interested in science and medicine.
